(Oct. 1, 2002) STRONGHOLD TABLE, S.D. Lakota elder Tony Black Feather told the United Nations that the American flag represents a racist nation that violates natural and spiritual laws, dishonors treaties and engages in a game plan of corporate greed.
In his statement delivered to the United Nations and distributed here on Stronghold Table, Black Feather pressed for disarmament and peace as President Bush pressed for war in Iraq.
Urging America to “come clean in the eyes of the world,” Black Feather said people often ask him about the red, white and blue of the American flag
“I tell them that the aboriginal Lakota people of this country look at this flag as a piece of red, white and blue cloth that stands for the foreign racist system that has oppressed Indigenous peoples for centuries.
“For traditional Lakota people, that piece of red, white and blue cloth stands for a system and a country that does not honor it’s own word.”

PINOLE, Calif -- (Aug. 17, 2017) Not Feeling too good after my friends and I were the victims of harassment by Pinole Police Department.
The Police detained us at gun point in handcuffs. The Police never read us our Miranda Rights. Searched us for Guns. The Police claimed that someone driving a white van pointed a gun at someone. Even though we were in my friend's garage and not driving. They also raided my friend's home illegally. They searched us for weapons and came up with nothing.

You can clearly hear a Pinole Police Officer order innocent people whom were filming the incident into their homes or face arrest.
Grateful for our Community who Video Recorded Pinole Police Department violating our Civil Rights.

American Indian Genocide Museum -- Racism towards Indians traced to perversion of Bible

Censored News Series: Racism in America

I recently read this chief's speech about George Washington and something just didn't seem right. It was published in Vol. 4 of Trail Ride Magazine under the title "When God Goes to War". I write this open letter to the author and editor of the magazine, Dr. Elliot Johnson,  after  reading the following chief's speech:

" I am Chief, and ruler over my tribes. My influence extends to the waters of the great lakes, and to the far blue mountains. I have traveled a long and weary path, that I might see the young warrior (George Washington, from the day he had horses shot out from underneath him) of the Great Battle. It was on the day when the white man's blood mixed with the streams of our forest, that I first beheld this chief. I called to my young men and said, 'Mark you tall and daring warrior? He is not of the redcoat tribe---he hath an Indian's wisdom, and his warriors fight as we do---himself is alone exposed. Quick, let your aim be certain, and he dies. Our rifles were leveled, rifles which, but for him, knew not how to miss--'twas all in vain, a power mightier far than we, shielded him from harm. He cannot die in battle. I am old, and soon shall be gathered to the great council fire of my fathers in the land of shades, but ere I go, there is something bids me speak in the voice of prophecy. Listen! The Great Spirit protects that man, and guides his destinies---he will become the chief of nations, and a people yet unborn will hail him as the founder of a mighty empire."

I emailed this speech to the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington and this was their reply: "This speech has proven to likely be a myth or legend. There is no solid proof of where the origins of that speech came from. It is published in some books, but without any citations, it is not able to be proven really one way or the other."

Dr. Elliot Johnson,
It is good to hear that you will be more selective in using stories that "cannot be verified". I was sure that the chief's speech was not true because Washington would have wrote about  it somewhere in his correspondence. They say that if something seems too good to be true, it probably isn't. I enjoy reading good books on history because good history writers are concerned with teaching history--- and they do that by using footnotes. Sometimes I will go to the bibliography before I read the book because I want to know that what I am reading is true.  The writings of Washington are easily verified because all of his writings are found listed in chronological order in the Library of Congress and the National Archives. All you need is the date, sender and recipient and you can get an actual copy of his letters.

Have you been keeping up with what happened up in Charlottesville, Virginia? The white supremacists, neo-Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan marched  and violence broke out between them and people who opposed these hate groups. When our president missed the opportunity to stand with those who oppose hate, former President Obama quoted Nelson Mandela  on Twitter, "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion…People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love…For love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."

Dr. Johnson,  did you know that there are those out there teaching hatred of Indians? And did you know that they are using the Bible to do it? They are teaching that the cowboys are the Chosen People and that the Indians are the Canaanites. I know that is hard to believe but they are also teaching that America is the cowboy's Promised Land---never mind that the Promised Land had boundaries.  I say this because I notice that on every other page of your magazine, you have written at the bottom of the page, the slogan, "A Cowboy's Journey Into the Promised Land" and I hope you don't literally believe that.

God said of the southern border of the Promised Land, "I will establish your borders from the Red Sea…Exodus 23:31". In Numbers 34:6 he said, "Your western boundary will be the coast of the Great Sea…(the Mediterranean). In Genesis 15:18 God , spoke of both the southern and northern boundaries saying, " that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, 'to your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.'" In Numbers 34:10-12 the Lord said to Moses, "For your eastern boundary, run a line from Hazar Enan to Shepham. The boundary will go down from Shephan to Riblah on the east side of Ain and continue along the slopes east of the Sea of Kinnereth. Then the boundary will go down along the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea (the Sea of Kinnereth is now known as the Sea of Galilee and the Salt Sea is now known as the Dead Sea).

As Christians, we must use these teachable moments to proclaim God's truths. In the Old Testament, when God judged the Canaanites, this was prophecy of how God will judge nations and peoples--- men women and children when He comes again. It is God who judges, not men. Until God's judgment of the world as found in Revelation 16, we are living in the age of grace.  In this age, there are no Canaanites to be judged, only lost people to be evangelized. The Lord Jesus Christ specifically gave the church these instructions as found in Mattthew 28:19&20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age." This is called The Great Commission given to the Christians and it should be noted that it does not say anything about driving anyone out and seizing their land.

Jesus also said in John 3:17, "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

Concerning the Chosen People, in Revelation 7:4 God is still dealing with the Jewish people, "Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel."

Unfortunately, anyone who teaches that the American Indians should have been exterminated as God commanded the Canaanites to be, is teaching a twisted interpretation of the Bible which amounts to white supremacy and nullifies the Great Commission.  As a matter of fact, this false teaching is so embedded in American history that Adolph Hitler used it to justify the genocide of the Jews during world war II. He said, speaking of the Jews and the Slavs, "The natives will be our Redskins".

As Nelson Mandela said, "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion…People must learn to hate …".  Hitler learned well, but he learned well from the Jezebel nature of American history where land theft and murder were legalized. The world witnessed justice being stood on its head at Standing Rock where a people who have lived on the land for thousands of years and who had a treaty with the United States were treated as trespassers. The sad thing is that it could all be traced back to the false teachers and their perversion of the Bible.

Hi Brenda,
As you know Racism is alive and well in America the beautiful, all the Indian policy on water and land rights.
The current relocation bill 93-531 is one big racist law that still exists today.
It wants water and land from our community here on Black Mesa -- coal and water -- to keep central and southwest usa alive for its energy needs.
Racist Hillary as a young intern helped Barry Goldwater draft this law.

Thanks, Louise

Treaty Alliance Against Tar Sands Expansion "Halt Enbridge, Paddle to Protect"

Paddle to Protect: A 250 Mile Canoe Journey to #StopLine3 "kicked off at the headwaters of the Mississippi. We're so thankful to everyone that came to share time in the water, offer their support, prayers, and good medicine with us before the journey began. The net that we cast when we first reached out for support reached so many people and we want to say chi miigwech to everyone helping us sound the alarm. Catch us on the water between now and our final arrival date on September 2nd in Big Sandy Lake! We hope to see you on the river." -- Paddle to Protect

Treaty Alliance First Nations 'There Will be No New Tar Sands Pipelines'

By Treaty Alliance Against Tar Sands Expansion
Censored News

While the British Columbia provincial government yesterday was prohibiting Kinder Morgan from starting work on its Trans Mountain Expansion pipeline and tanker project on public land until First Nations rights are respected, Alberta Premier Rachel Notley was on site celebrating the start of construction of Enbridge’s “Line 3” project, a tar sands pipeline also mired in Indigenous opposition – including from the 150 First Nations and Tribes who have signed the Treaty Alliance Against Tar Sands Expansion. That opposition to Line 3 is growing all along its route but its epicenter remains in Minnesota where Tribes and water protectors are promising to stand in its path, like the group of young water protectors who will be embarking starting Saturday August 12 on a 3 – week, 250- mile canoe journey across northern Minnesota called the “Paddle to Protect” – to stand for the lakes, the manoomin (wild rice) beds and the 1855 treaty territories of the Ojibwe people.
“There’s not going to be a Kinder Morgan tar sands pipeline out West jeopardizing our coasts, there’s not going to be a TransCanada contaminating the Ogallala aquifer, nor is there going to be an Enbridge one poisoning the lakes and wild rice beds in Minnesota,” said Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, President of the Union of BC Indian Chiefs, on behalf of the Treaty Alliance Against Tar Sands Expansion. “We commend the new BC government for standing up for BC, especially for appointing Thomas Berger as their external counsel, and for wanting to be on the right side of history regarding these climate – killing tar sands pipelines.”
“Our people were at Standing Rock and all the ingredients for another Standing Rock -style stand in defence of our water are there. And the youth are leading the way again, including raising awareness about the dangers of Line 3 with the ‘Paddle to Protect’, a3-week 250-mile canoe journey across northern Minnesota” said Winona Laduke, Executive Director of Honor the Earth, an Indigenous Environmental organization based on the White Earth reservation in Minnesota. “We don’t need this pipeline, we don’t want this pipeline and we’re going to stop it.”
Enbridge’s Line 3 and Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain Expansion were both approved by the Trudeau government on the same day on November 29 despite the strong opposition of First Nations across the country. Construction on Line 3 has begun in Canada despite the fact that many Treaty Alliance member First Nations along the route have not given their consent and firmly oppose the work. Meanwhile, the regulatory process is not even finished yet in Minnesota.
“Anyone out there celebrating the start of construction better realize that the opposition to this Line 3 tar sands pipeline is only getting bigger. Do you think our Indigenous people and our allies all over North America are going to let Tribal peoples in Minnesota fight this alone –
do you think our young people will let that happen?” Added Kevin Hart, Assembly of First Nations Regional Chief for Manitoba on behalf of the Treaty Alliance Against Tar Sands Expansion. “Enbridge, the company behind the Line 3 pipeline,is hated in Indian country: our people will never forget that Enbridge tried unsuccessfully to ram through the Northern Gateway pipeline in BC, that they ran roughshod over the rights of the Chippewas of the Thames with their Line 9 pipeline and that they are one quarter owners of the criminal Dakota Access pipeline.”
Enbridge is replacing its old Line 3 pipeline that has a current effective capacity of 390,000 bpd with a new expanded pipeline with the capacity to transport 915,000 barrels of tar sands oil a day–a difference of 525,000 barrels (the same amount of tar sands oil that would have been transported by the now defunct Northern Gateway pipeline). The 150 First Nations and Tribes who have signed the Treaty Alliance Against Tar Sands Expansion have committed to standing together to collectively stop Line 3, the Trans Mountain Expansion, Keystone XL and Energy East.

Mohawk Nation News 'City Life'

Mohawk Nation News
Please post and distribute.
MNN. Aug. 15, 2017. Living in cities did not work for us. Society became large unmanageable and exhausted our resources. City dwellers sent others out to get the resources they needed, which dwindled. Classes, selfishness, greed, crime, corruption and chaos crept in.

People became less willing to share, causing divisions. Crime festered inside the cities.
Smaller groups of onkwe-hon-weh left and returned to the land. They used smaller parcels of land and did not have to travel far from their homes to feed and take care of their families.  Every one was equal. People could live in peace and harmony once again.
When the invaders arrived on great turtle island, they found remnants of abandoned great cities. The descendants told them it didn’t work out and people went back to their smaller sustainable communities.
Today in North American cities classes of haves and have-nots have created desperation and chaos. Police forces and prisons are big private businesses. Crime, drug dealers, sex parties, human trafficking, pedophilia and perversions from the European mentality are being glorified.
Crime is a big private business for politicians, lawyers, judges, courts, governments to cage people mostly for stupid reasons. The rich get richer and make the rules.
The young and old want a piece of the American pie. A few profit. The majority live in constant fear and poverty.
The rulers spout that everyone has become evil and demand more policing, standing armies and punishment to control or foment wars between races, gangs and desperate people. Those who disagree are targeted.
Natural guidance to protect ourselves has been almost erased. We walk around like strangers in filthy and dangerous cities and towns on our own land. A veil of concrete has been put over our mother’s face so we can’t recognize her.
It’s one thing to survive but another to live in the natural way. Soon we might exploit our mother too.

We condemn logging, oil drilling, fracking, pipelines, logging, dams, pollution. In the next breath we want to be like them. The corpo band and tribal councils and their cohorts want profit from our resources and to sit in offices trying to scare and control us. They strive to be like their wrongdoing handlers. The almighty dollar is their salvation.

Awareness is the first step. The young are angry. They know they’ve been lied to and cheated. The very essence of who they are has been stolen from them. Those seniors who are near the end should not prevent them from doing what is necessary. It is their time with a whole life ahead of them.
Whoever thought ‘motor city’ Detroit, one of the greatest US cities, would lose its glory. Eminem sings about losing yourself. [Eminem ‘lose yourself’ with lyrics]

Greetings Friends, Family and Comrades
Censored News

Good news on the medical front, Leonard got his wheelchair and now has more mobility in getting to various programs, like the computer class as well as the art room. He wants to thank his lawyer and Committee for their help in getting the chair but Leonard knows the real struggle will be to get a new hip so that he won't be in pain or need a wheel chair at all.
We also got a wonderful donation for the legal fund and the friends that sent it are willing to match any new funds up to 5,000.00 dollars which will be a huge help with the new research and focus that Leonard's attorney wants to take. So, no amount is too small to be matched. If you use PayPal or a check just indicate Legal Fund, and we will let you know how it is going in the next letter.
I hope you have all seen the ad for the concert that will be happening in Tulsa, OK on Nov. 6th. The last day for VIP Packages is 10:00am August 16th, 2017. Visit the concert details at . It will be very exciting to have these wonderful musicians together performing to help us raise funds and awareness of Leonard's struggle.

Concert press statement

French translation by Christine Prat for Censored News.

Mohawk Nation News 'True Memories'

True Memories

Mohawk Nation News
Please post and distribute.
MNN. August 14, 2017. Our children are not being taught, they are being educated, ose-ni-kon-ro-hareh, to wash away our natural instincts to protect ourselves. Our children become defencless as they are removed from natural ways designed by creation.

Other people are training their minds to be obedient without question and to live without thanking the land.
We are constantly being ordered to listen and memorize, rather than understand where these ideas come from.
They are being trained to be controlled by the state, church and corporate institutions. We are being removed from the land so the invaders cancontinue to rape and pillage our mother. They are not being taught the skills to survive. We need to help our children take control of their own minds and live with the land to achieve our destiny.
Our seniors have been exposed to residential schools and religion. Their mind has difficulty functioning as creation intended. The residential school mentality continues in mainstream schools.

Our people created a brilliant language and cultural advancements before 1492. The greatest minds in the world were on turtle island that strived towards world peace and true humanity, as we then knew the world.
Today our teachings come from books written by the enemies. Those from our people are based on research from their libraries. Our true scholars are rejected if they write contrary to the ideology of mainstream academia. We are failing both ourselves and our children from learning the natural reality.
There are two ways to fight: change or take a hard line. We are conforming. Those who question everything are blacklisted. We are convinced we have to be part of the enemy’s economy and work for them.
We have been placed on a limited land base to restrict and control our survival.
If the Caucasian disappears from great turtle island, they will leave behind many casualties.  They developed a system so that our people fight each other, fight for the colonial settlers and help enforce their will on us.

The Caucasian low sperm count means they will be gone. They can still have seeds but if they don’t  have fertile soil, they can’t naturally grow their crops.
Our seeds are forever. Corn, beans and squash can be put away for thousands of years. Our people can take them to the land and leave behind televisions, cars, computers and material things. We will stop crying about what’s happened to us.
Vern Gosdin, sings about the power of true memories: “What would your memories do, If someday they found the door to my mind Had been locked from inside by my heart. What would they do if they couldn’t use you any longer
To tear me apart. What would your memories do?..”
